Materials Needed:

The following books are needed for this course:

(Students may get these books from a local public library or purchase at a book store)

All students choose from:

1. Animal Farm by George Orwell
2. House on Mango Street by Sandra Cisneros
3. Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury

Honors students only:

1. Lord of the Flies by William Golding

Note: Other books may also be listed in the future as required or suggested reading, and students selecting the Honors Option may be required to read additional titles.

Students will also need to rent the video Romeo and Juliet from a local video store or their public library.

Students will receive access to United Learning, an online video repository, once they have begun their course.
