Materials Needed:

1. Adobe Acrobat (free download). Adobe Acrobat Reader will allow you to open text files that are easy to print. If you do no have this plug-in, use the link to go to the directions for adding this plug-in. Get the Adobe Acrobat Reader.


2. Macromedia Flash (free download). The Flash Player will allow you to view interactive web applications created in Macromedia Flash. If you do no have this plug-in, use the link to go to the directions for adding this plug-in. Get the Macromedia Flash Player. Be sure to download the latest version.


3. RealPlayer (free download). The free version of RealPlayer lets you play the latest media formats. Get the RealPlayer.

You are expected to supply:

• reliable computer and Internet access
• plenty of paper and ink cartridges for computer printing
• storage device such as floppy or zip disk for saving your work. It is not recommended to save on your computer hard drive because computers can crash and work can be lost.
• 2-3 inch, 3-ring binder. Try to get the kind with a clear covering so you can insert a title page
• subject separators or tabs to divide your notebook into 9 sections (one for each module)
• three hole punch
• Graph paper
• Ruler
• Tape measure

• Compass
• Scientific Calculator
